CHRIST THE KING COMMUNITY CHURCH
DR. E. DANIEL & RUTH MARTIN Enos (aka “E. Daniel”) has been a bi-vocational pastor since his first year of medical school in 1970. Ruth, his wife, has always been fully supportive and involved, be it in making an inviting home from a $20 a month farmhouse annex while Enos was in medical school, or be it in serving as treasurer for Overcomers Mission School, New Testament Fellowship of Churches, PTL India Partners and LifeGate. Today, Enos and Ruth are the interim pastoral couple at Christ the King Community Church, Lancaster, PA. Enos is also on the executive committee of New Testament Fellowship of Churches. He is continuing to serve as Vice Chairman of the Overcomers Mission School board which oversees missionary training schools in Kenya, Tanzania and Paraguay. |
He is Chairman of PTL-India Partners, a support group for PTL-India, a network of churches, ministries and schools in India, directed by P.C. Alexander. Enos also works 20 hours a week as a psychiatrist in local prisons. He focuses in his prison work on how to make an eternal difference in five minutes.
Enos and Ruth have four children, and 15 grandchildren. Enos and Ruth testify that their greatest joy is to know that all of their children and grandchildren are deeply committed to the Lord and actively involved in Christian ministry. They believe that a significant reason their family is walking in faith is because of the fervent prayers of God‘s people over the years.
Enos and Ruth believe God has called them in this season of life to focus on Abiding in Christ and to develop an Abiding Center. Enos testifies that he is in kindergarten regarding this, but he’s expecting the Holy Spirit to train him in what it means to abide in Christ.
